KANKU DOJO

Welcome to The Kanku dojo working with the KYOKUSHIN SCHOOLS OF KARATE UNITED KINGDOM, Under THE INDEPENDENT KYOKUSHIN UNION WORLDWIDE.

The KANKU DOJO is run by the KSK's Chief Instructor, Shihan Darren Murphy 5th dan and is a members only exclusive dojo. Membership is gained by contacting the KSK office and an invitation is granted. Exclusive means we only teach a set number of students which provides a personal type class.

The Dojo is set in the heart of the East London, the location of the 2012 Olympics, and we are proud to support these games! Our dojo location is set to become a vital part of the games and regeneration is high on our agenda.

All our Instructors are CRB checked and hold an NSPCC child protection policy documents for the Martial Arts. Instructors are registered with TL Risk Solutions for Instructors Indemnity Insurance and each member is also registered with TL Risk Solutions for member to member Insurance.

Members are subject to a health check and medical applications, which is subject to the data Protection Act and is keep with the Instructors for their eyes-only.

Exclusive Members Only Kanku Dojo is for 10 years and over only, our Little Ninjas Dojo is set for ages 4 – 10 years and is run by Senpai, Maxine Wolfers and helper George Gedon. All new members wishing to join the Little Ninjas part of our dojo, can do so in person, or by visiting the club or by contacting us via e-mail at kskunion@hotmail.com.

Kyokushinkai is a Full Contact Style of Karate and is in the forefront of Martial Arts, We are a true karate club that is Big enough to matter but Small enough to care.

The Little Ninjas side is fully adapted for the ages we teach, We have practical karate lessons, Martial Arts games and a syllabus to suite the needs of our younger members.

The Kanku dojo (kyokushinkai) is well known in Martial Arts as the Strongest Karate. We give an All Round Body Workout, Bag Work, Fitness with Combat Fighting Skills, that is a major part of our club.

The younger members will learn to adapt at there own pace to a standard that will give them confidence and a aim of belonging, They will meet new friends and work in groups building there Interpersonal skills to a high level.

We aim to stay at member levels that makes training become a personal session, and we are at this time looking for new members to fill a small gap in our student numbers for both clubs.

 Lessons start at £3.50 - £5.00 per person.
 Karate Uniforms (GI’s) are white with printed logos.
 Licence Books and Students Martial Arts Insurance is £15.00 per year.
 Gradings (next belts) are every 3 months from £15.00 each and we accept other styles to join our club and arrange a transfer policy.
